A boutique hotel, feet in the Mediterranean.
Dar El Bhar, “House of the Sea”, lives up to its name. Here the Mediterranean is not a view: it is the backdrop of every day. You open the shutters onto the blue, have breakfast almost on the sand, and fall asleep to the sound of the waves.
Every room was shaped by the island's artisans: turned wood, wrought iron, mosaic friezes. A hotel on a human scale, where the team knows your name by the second morning.

Where exactly is Hotel Dar El Bhar?
Dar El Bhar sits right on the seafront, in the Sidi Mehrez tourist zone in Mezraia, on the island of Djerba (Medenine governorate, Tunisia), about twenty minutes from Houmt Souk and Djerba-Zarzis airport.
Does the hotel have a private beach?
Yes. The hotel opens directly onto the beach, with a private area of sunbeds and parasols reserved for our guests, plus an outdoor pool facing the sea.
What does the spa offer?
The Dar El Bhar spa offers a traditional hammam, massages, treatment cures and a jacuzzi. Treatments are booked on site, at reception.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 2 pm and check-out until 12 noon. For a late arrival or a later departure, write to us: we do our best depending on availability.
How do I book a room?
